Sarah grew up in Chicago and Paris, before graduating from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University with a Master of Arts in Performance Studies. She studied directing at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique (CNSAD) and screenwriting at the Atelier scénario at la Fémis.
Sarah's first short film LES VOIX VOLÉES (2014) was produced by Triade Films and selected in multiple festivals (Festival de Douarnenez, Aubagne, Jean Carmet...). Her second short film, LA VERRUE (SPELL ON YOU), produced by Balade Sauvage Productions, premiered at the FIFIB (Festival international du film indépendant de Bordeaux), won the Jury and Audience awards at the PIFFF and was presented in competition at the Gérardmer International Fantastic Film Festival and Palm Springs Shortfest 2022 among others.
She just finished her third short film, HÔTEL ACROPOLE, and is currently developing her feature film project.
Sarah also works as a screenwriter for other directors, writes podcasts for Louie Media (Steamy, Un autre regard) and articles for MASTERMIND MAGAZINE. She runs INTÉRIEUR/NUIT, a monthly event of screenings followed by talks that focus on the work of screenwriters at the Majestic Bastille cinema in Paris, with the Scénaristes de cinéma associés.
